Bsc. degree in Medicine, Nutrition, Public Health or other health related science field is required. Masters degree preferred such as Public Health
Minimum of 5 years professional experience implementing humanitarian health and nutrition programs at managerial or coordination level, preferably with INGOs
Proven experience in emergency nutrition settings, BCC, PHC and others like CMAM, IYCF, major epidemic diseases surveillance and epidemic/outbreak investigation and response
Demonstrated experience in capacity building, project design and budget management.
Understanding of protection principles, gender main streaming, conflict sensitivity, and Do No Harm, as well as and contextual knowledge on Sudan.
Ability to communicate technical issues effectively and persuasively
Ability to build collaborative relationships with Sudanese civil society actors to generate mutually beneficial professional relationships based on mutual trust and respect.
Experience in effectively dealing with headquarters staff, as well as donor agencies, government officials, and other NGO's; ability to work with a broad spectrum of people.
Strong writing and analytical skills, including ability to communicate technical matters to a range of audiences.
Experience in quality assurance in a clinical setting desirable.
Excellent Computer knowledge – Microsoft office programs and relevant health data base.
Experience using HMIS or other data management and analysis programs is desirable.
Language requirements: Arabic and Fluency in English is essential
Mature and structured approach to project and team management.
Ability to multi-task, ability to handle pressure well, flexibility, adaptability to transition.
Ability to travel in country.
