 Background:

 SUDO is an independent, secular, nongovernmental, non-partisan and non-profit making organization established in April 2001 and dedicated to the promotion and the protection of human rights, peace building, support human basic services and development. In particular, the sector includes Health, Nutrition, WASH, Protection, FSL, and cash programs.  SUDO is currently operating through 12 well-established field offices. 



 
 Duties and responsibilities:

  • Lead the process of effective community sensitization, mobilization and CARM dissemination to ensure transparency and local participation in the project activities.
  • Support field teams to bring together community leaders and potential responder groups to map local capacity and identify priority needs. 
  • Coordinator with the project donor to train SUDO field staff and local initiatives on the CVA fundamentals, monthly and final reporting 
  • Coordinate with projects donors to provide adequate trainings to community volunteers on beneficiary registration forms and using data entry tools.
  • Work closely with SUDO field teams to carry out the registration and verification of beneficiaries.  
  • Assist SUDO field staff to effectively control crowd management, vulnerability prioritization, and protection Incident reporting during cash distribution at the distribution points. 
 
  • Facilitate post-distribution monitoring PDM activities including collecting beneficiary feedback, evaluating satisfaction, identifying implementation challenges, and assessing the appropriateness and of cash support. 
  • Responsible for the project monthly narrative reports and the final reports.
  • Represent the organization in relevant working groups of Collective Sudan (CCS). 
  • Participate in the CWG meetings and be responsible for reporting to the group.
  • Contribute to fundraising for projects on C&V. 
  • Any other tasks related to the JD.

 
 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

  • BSc. in development-related subjects, economics, Agriculture, etc.
  • At least 6 years’ experience with NGO /INGO in livelihoods/ food security fields or relevant fields including 3 years in Cash programming.
  • Flexible, cooperative and supportive team player.
  • Good written and oral communication skills in English and Arabic.
  • Understanding of and commitment to diversity and equal opportunities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, communicate and negotiate with a wide range of people and organizations with tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to cultural differences. 
  •  Ability to work to agreed deadlines.
  • Ability to think analytically and plan strategically.
  • Ability to live and work in often arduous conditions and undertake necessary travel in the country.
