 Duties and responsibilities:

  Implementation and Monitoring Field Work:

  • Support the implementation and monitoring of GBV and accountability activities in line with project plans and guidelines.
  • Apply GBV guiding principles and promptly report concerns or protection risks to the supervisor.
  • Assist with assessments and data collection on GBV, protection, and women's empowerment needs.
  • Support GBV risk mitigation, safe referral, and accountability within health and reproductive health activities.
  • Provide operational and administrative support for timely, quality implementation.
  • Collect and verify data, maintain records, and contribute to monthly and quarterly reports.
  • Support referral pathways, service mapping, SOP updates, and confidential referral follow-up under supervision.
  • Assist with trainings, workshops, awareness sessions, and capacity-building activities.
  • Support orientations on GBV, AAP, PSEA, women's empowerment, PFA, and safe referral.
  • Facilitate awareness on GBV prevention, available services, safe referral, and rights.
  • Support CFM, record and refer feedback or complaints, and follow up with MEAL and technical teams.
  • Support community sensitization, satisfaction surveys, focus groups, and consultations using approved tools.
  • Document feedback, success stories, and lessons learned with consent and confidentiality, and report service gaps.
  • Ensure that all GBV needs are covered by the cluster.
  • Strengthened capacity of GBV service providers, including training for HWs on Psychological First Aid, Case Management, and Referral System.
  • Support referral pathways between RH, GBV, and other relevant services to ensure that survivors receive comprehensive care and support.
  • Manages all incoming and outgoing referral processes.
  • She/He is responsible for the overall management of referral focal points at PHCs level .
  • Facilitates admission procedures for the patients that are referred from the destination Hospital in case of facing any problem, and do the regular follow up of the cases while admitted in the referral hospital and ensure that they are receiving good quality care.
  • Act as the focal point for all GBV related issues .
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Program Manager .

 
 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in social work, gender, psychology, sociology, development, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in GBV, protection, community engagement, or accountability work.
  • Good spoken and written English; fluency in Arabic is required.
  • Experience supporting GBV prevention, women's empowerment, community mobilization, or CFM activities.
  • Familiarity with survivor-centered principles, confidentiality, safe referral, and case management basics.
  • Experience supporting trainings or awareness sessions is an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of referral mechanisms and available GBV support services.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic data collection, documentation, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with supervision and as part of a team.
  • Cultural sensitivity and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
