Duties and responsibilities:
- To build up a human resource database in accordance with planned programming , Maintain employment contracts and Maintain staff employment files and keep them updated with any related issues, Prepare all staff paper work needed for promotion, transfer or any other issues and keep it on file and management of annual leave and any other leaves.
- Maintain the HR Management Information System (Pay Space) to ensure accurate and up to date data and organograms.
- Calculations of staff benefits including monthly salaries and end-of-service entitlements for all staff.
- Management of personnel administration of Gedaref office, including payslips, collection of timesheets, calculation of DSA, per diem and overtime for staff members.
- Supporting management in the recruitment for new positions, including the coordination of induction of new employees in Gedaref Office
- Ensuring compliance with Sudanese law, WHH and donor policy for all HR issues, including but not limited to recruitment, benefits, termination, documentation and record keeping (physical and electronic) for HR, including staff employment files, recruitment files, timesheets and payroll, and social insurance & tax payments.
- Uphold the WHH Code of Conduct and ensure that all staff have received adequate instruction or guidance in this area.
- Support Supervisors in ensuring staff performance management (employee dialogue) processes are conducted as per WHH regulations.
- Check contracts (legal aspects, classification, remuneration) and ensure that contracts correspond to WHH rules and agreements.
- Assist on Coordination and support for staff wellbeing, training and development.
- Engage HAC for all HR needs, including recruitment of national staff or consultants.

Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:
Qualification: - University Degree (bachelor's degree in human resource, business administration, or related social science
- 2-3 years of working experience in a similar position with local or International NGO.
- Familiarity with Sudan Labour Law and government relations is strongly preferred
- Very Good oral and written communication and presentation skills in English and Arabic.
- Practical knowledge of databases, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft office applications.
