Duties and responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming items and verify their compliance in terms of quantity, quality, and shipping documents (GRN / Waybill).
- Comply with the organization’s warehouse management policies, anti-fraud and anti-corruption policies, and codes of conduct.
- Apply FIFO / FEFO principles, particularly for food, medical, and hygiene items.
- Accurately and transparently record all inventory movements (receipts, issues, and returns) in line with organizational systems and procedures.
- Store items safely and systematically in compliance with quality, safety, and protection standards to prevent damage or theft.
- Issue items to projects and field teams based on approved requests and official documentation.
- Conduct regular inventory counts (monthly/quarterly) and participate in spot checks as required.
- Immediately report any discrepancies, damage, or loss of stock and prepare reports for project management.
- Monitor expiry dates, particularly for food, medical, and hygiene supplies.
- Prepare and submit periodic inventory reports to the Project Management and Logistics Department.
- Coordinate with logistics, procurement, and finance teams to ensure smooth and integrated operations.
- Ensure stock readiness to support emergency responses and humanitarian activities in a timely manner.
- Ensure proper storage conditions to prevent damage, loss, or expiration of items.
- Report directly to the Logistics Officer / Project Manager.

Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:
- University degree or diploma in warehouse management, logistics, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in logistics or warehouse management, preferably with humanitarian organizations or NGO projects.
- Knowledge of humanitarian supply chain procedures.
- Ability to prepare accurate reports and comply with official documentation requirements.
- Good computer skills and experience with inventory management systems.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and commitment to humanitarian work standards.
- Ability to work under pressure and in emergency environments.
- Basic knowledge of occupational health and safety procedures.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.

Working Conditions: - Work is based in a store or warehouse environment.
