 Duties and responsibilities:

Responsible for OCW & protection Department, seeking technical support and guidance from OCW Manager, to reflect the guidance to orphans’ officers and social workers related matters assuring compliance with HA and donors’ guidelines and other requirements.to support orphaned children.

Assess the emotional, psychological, educational, and social needs of orphaned children.

Develop and implement individualized care and support plans.

Provide counselling and emotional support to children dealing with trauma, loss, or neglect.

Monitor children’s progress in health, education, and behavior.

Work closely with orphanage staff, foster families, and caregivers to ensure proper care.

Advocate for children’s rights and ensure their protection and safety at all times.

Facilitate access to education, healthcare, and recreational activities.

 

Organize life skills training and personal development activities for children.

Maintain accurate records and reports on each child’s development and case history.

Coordinate with NGOs, schools, healthcare providers, and government agencies.

Conduct home visits or institutional visits when required.

Finally, responsible for all aspects related to protection roles as INGOs standard.  


 
 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

A University Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Gender studies, Health, or equivalent is a requirement.

• Previous, has orphans & social work experience 

• Minimum two years' experience in two filed orphans with GBV, Protection, Child protection and social work an advantage.

• Good training and facilitation skills are necessary.

• Ability to speak Arabic and English. ability to speak the local languages of the location an advantage

• Willing to stay and work in remote locations.

• Flexible and can adapt to the prevailing environment.

• Self-discipline, self-awareness and self-starter.

• Computer literate especially Microsoft Word, excel database, and power point. Knowledge of other software is an advantage.
