Background: The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) is the United Nations system's designated entity for addressing environmental issues at the global and regional level. Its mandate is to coordinate the development of environmental policy consensus by keeping the global environment under review and bringing emerging issues to the attention of governments and the international community for action. In Sudan, UNEP maintains a programme office managed out of the Disasters and Conflicts Branch, which implements a range of environmental governance and natural resource management projects in partnership with government and non-government actors.
The Snr Driver and Logistic is responsible for a range of operational functions, including the driving services of the office vehicles to transport authorized personnel and delivery and collection of letters and mails and other UNEP items as well as to support field visits to UNEP project sites. |

Duties and responsibilities: Objective: Driving of all UN Environment office vehicles to transport staff and consultants, field missions, send and collect mails, logistics and support vehicle maintenance and services.
Work Assignments & Outputs
Performance indicators for evaluation of outputs. High quality of driving services, vehicles maintenance and logistic issues. Supporting office meetings, workshops, follow up with the generator fuel. |
