Duties and responsibilities:
- Ensure project plans (including BoQs), acquisition processes, schedules, work hours, budgets and expenditures, are in line with needs and budgets and are implemented according to plan.
- Responsible to develop project strategies and create a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective; maintain calendar and support in determining any project changes
- Responsible for liaising with the Programs Department and the various Field Coordinators relating the different construction projects
- Update management with progress reports as per schedule; organise timely meetings with internal stakeholders to ensure relevant parties have given approval such that projects can progress according to schedule
- Undertake related project tasks as required, for example travel upcountry for construction and rehabilitation assessment, planning, liaison with stakeholders and support to teams on the ground
- Ensure that contracted companies monitor the appropriate use of all building materials and tools for construction
- Monitor construction and rehabilitation needs and participate in project proposal writing through providing technical advice on prioritisation, cost analysis, design and timely realisation of projects; participate in the technical approval process for all construction projects
- Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project
- Work to develop assessment of project risks and issues, and provide solutions where applicable
- Act as focal point in MTI for all construction related matters, including liaison with engineers, government, donors and partners
- Ensure that construction decisions are made with the highest level of integrity and ethics according to professional and MTI Code of Conduct
- Train staff in policies, procedures and systems related to construction and rehabilitation activities
- Support safeguarding of program participants and employees through promoting an environment of awareness and upholding the code of conduct provisions of Medical Teams Protection from Sexual Exploitation & Abuse, Child & Vulnerable Adult protection, and harassment-free workplace policies.

Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering or related field is required
- Postgraduate qualification in Business Management (e.g. Project Management, Business Administration, CIPS, NAVY) is an added advantage
Experiences: 4 years of experience in managing construction projects is required
