The accountant is responsible for accurate financial management, documentation, and reporting of SAFER project funds at state level, ensuring compliance with SRCS financial policies and donor regulations.

• Maintain complete and accurate financial records for project expenditures.
• Process payments, advances, and settlements in accordance with procedures.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and reconciliations.
• Support procurement, asset tracking, and audit processes.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, and donor financial requirements.

6. Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in NGO or donor-funded project accounting.
• Knowledge of EU rules and procedures is an asset.
