 Background:

 SUDO is an independent, secular, nongovernmental, non-partisan and non-profit making organization established in April 2001 and dedicated to the promotion and the protection of human rights, peace building, support human basic services and development. In particular, the sector includes: FSL, Health, Nutrition, Protection, WASH, and cash programs.  SUDO is currently operating through 13 well-established field offices. 



 
 Duties and responsibilities:

  • Leading projects planning, implementation, monitoring & reporting
  • Coordinating staff and internal resources
  • Managing projects implementation progress and adapt work as required
  • Ensuring projects meet deadlines
  • Managing relationships with stakeholders
  • Represents SUDO at State level
  • Overseeing all incoming and outgoing projects documentation
  • Participating in tender process i.e. design, submission and review
  • Designing risk mitigation plan
  • Conducting project review and creating detailed reports per SUDO & donors requirements
  • Optimizing and improving processes and the overall approach where necessary
  • Managing large and diverse teams
  • Measure project & staff performance to identify areas for improvement

 
 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

  • A master's degree in management, Business or Business Administration, development studies, social studies or any relevant field with five years of experience in a similar role.
  • At least 10 years of experience in the same level with NNGO and/or INGOs. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word).
  • Excellent writing and communication skills in both Arabic and English.
  • Familiarity with project management systems (e.g., MS Project) and databases. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • Proven ability to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously.
  • Proven experience in overseeing and managing projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.

 

  • Good command of computer applications (MS Office) and data collection tools.
