Job Summary: The Mobile Clinic Services Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of mobile clinics, ensuring highquality healthcare delivery, compliance with health protocols, and coordination with local health authorities and community structures. This role involves supervising clinic staff, managing resources, and ensuring patient care quality, data accuracy, availability of supplies, drugs and equipment, community engagement, and compliance with safeguarding standards.



 
 Duties and responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities: 

1. Clinic Operations Management:  Oversee and supervise the daily operations of mobile clinics, ensuring that medical services are provided according to established protocols and guidelines.  Coordinate schedules for mobile clinic visits and ensure efficient route planning to maximize coverage of target areas.  Ensure proper setup and breakdown of mobile clinics in different locations, ensuring safety and readiness for service delivery.  Monitor patient flow and clinic activities to ensure efficiency and minimal wait times.  Implement operational policies to ensure compliance with local health laws, international standards, and organizational protocols. 2. Staff Supervision and Capacity Building:  Supervise and provide guidance to clinical and non-clinical staff, including doctors, nurses, pharmacists, drivers, and community health workers.  Conduct regular staff meetings to provide updates, address concerns, and evaluate performance.  Develop training sessions for clinic staff to ensure they are equipped with the latest healthcare knowledge and practices, especially in emergency and field settings.  Ensure proper staffing for each mobile clinic operation and manage the scheduling and rotation of medical personnel. 3. Patient Care and Quality Assurance: 2 _____ ____ Employee RI  Monitor and evaluate the quality of healthcare services provided in mobile clinics, ensuring patient care meets the required standards.  Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that medical equipment and supplies are available and in working order.  Ensure patient records are accurately maintained, ensuring confidentiality and proper data entry for future reporting and analysis.  Address any complaints or concerns from patients regarding the quality of care or clinic operations.  Ensure the availability and functionality of medical supplies and equipment.  Oversee accurate and confidential patient record-keeping, supporting future data analysis and reporting.  Address any complaints or concerns related to patient care promptly. 4. Coordination and Communication:  Work closely with the Program Manager, Clinical service coordinator and other supervisors to ensure proper coordination between mobile clinic teams and other healthcare facilities or programs.  Liaise with local health authorities, community leaders, and partners to ensure the mobile clinic’s activities align with local health needs and priorities.  Coordinate with logistics teams for the timely delivery of medical supplies, medications, and equipment required for mobile clinics.  Prepare and submit regular reports on mobile clinic performance, patient statistics, and resource needs to management. 5. Logistics and Resource Management:  Manage mobile clinic resources including medical supplies, equipment, fuel, and vehicles to ensure smooth and uninterrupted service delivery.  Track inventory of medical supplies and medications, ensuring timely restocking and preventing shortages.  Ensure mobile clinic vehicles are maintained in good condition and coordinate with the logistics team for vehicle maintenance and repairs as needed.  Monitor fuel and transportation costs, ensuring that mobile clinic operations are cost-effective. 6. Health and Safety:  Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols for both staff and patients, especially in environments with communicable diseases or during emergencies.  Develop and implement emergency protocols for managing medical emergencies and other crises during mobile clinic operations.  Ensure infection control measures are followed during medical procedures, and that waste disposal is handled properly. 7. Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL)  Implement MEAL processes to track clinic performance, patient statistics, and health outcomes.  Conduct data quality checks and ensure accuracy in documentation and reporting.  Use findings from MEAL processes to inform continuous improvements in service delivery.  Ensure availability of registers and data collection tools  Ensure timely sharing of clinics data  Working with the MEAL team, ensure monthly data verification 8. Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP) 3 _____ ____ Employee RI  Engage with community members to gather feedback on healthcare services.  Ensure that patients’ voices are considered in service delivery decisions.  Promote transparency and provide accessible information on available services and referral pathways. 9. Safeguarding  Ensure adherence to safeguarding policies, promoting a safe environment for patients, staff, and community members.  Train clinic staff on safeguarding measures, including handling sensitive patient information.  Address and report any safeguarding concerns in line with organizational protocols.


 
 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: Mandatory Qualifications required:  A university degree in Medical Science is required. A university degree in a Public Health or any related Specialization field is desirable.  Proven experience of a minimum of 2 years in in humanitarian primary healthcare with at least one year in an NGO Languages: Fluent written and spoken in Arabic (native) and intermediate written and spoken in English Competencies:  Basic MS word and excel skills  Capacity building skills  Communication skills  Basic Data Analysis
