The Senior Monitoring & Evaluation officer will be responsible for designing and implementing the M&E activities of the Projects assisting the Planning Manager in preparing Quarterly/Annual reports on projects progress and will monitor the projects activities on a regular basis, developing and maintaining the MIS of the Project and will be responsible for the collection & analysis of different data in relation to the projects activities

1. Develop monitoring and evaluation procedures.
2. Monitor all projects activities, expenditures and progress towards achieving the project output.
3. Collect data on a regular basis to measure achievement against the performance indicators.
4. Recommend further improvement of the logical frame work.
5. Monitor and evaluate overall progress on achievement of results.
6. Provide feedback to the planning & Implementation Managers on projects strategies and activities.
7. Suggest strategies to the Project Management for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the projects.
8. Report monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual progress on all project activities to the Organization Management & Board of Directors. 
9. Provide inputs, information and statistics for quarterly, annual and other reports to Project Management Team.
10. Assist in coordinating across the available components of the Projects to ensure effective implementation of M&E.
11. Supervise and provide technical guidance to the M&E team, ensuring effective planning, coordination, and implementation of monitoring and evaluation activities in alignment with organizational standards and donor requirements.
12. Check that monitoring data are discussed in appropriate forum and in a timely fashion in terms of implications for future action. If necessary, create such discussions to fill any gap.
13. Perform any other duties as may be reasonably required within the scope of the organization’s activities.
    
     

1. University Degree preferably MBA in Business Administration, Economics or related field. 
2. At least 5 years of experience in the design and implementation of M&E/MIS in development projects implemented by national/international NGOs/UN bodies/ Government.
3. Good knowledge of program implementation, monitoring and evaluation techniques and practices.
4. Able to adjust & adapt effectively to changing priorities, environments, and work demands while maintaining a high level of performance.
5. Proven organizational and multitasking skills.
6. Excellent knowledge in data management & familiarity with Power BI, Kobo Toolbox, and advanced Excel is required for data management, analysis, and reporting.
7. Excellent Arabic and English Language.
8. Preferably familiar with ERP systems (such as Odoo, SAP, etc.) to support data integration and organizational processes.
9. Able and willing to work as part of the team and as team leader and assist or carry out other duties during periods of high workload and emergencies.
10. Ability to maintain confidentiality; demonstrate sound judgement and discretion 
11. Strong organizational and detail coordination skills. 
12. Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
