 Background:

 SUDO is an independent, secular, nongovernmental, non-partisan and non-profit making organization established in April 2001 and dedicated to the promotion and the protection of human rights, peace building, support human basic services and development. In particular, the sector includes: FSL, Health, Nutrition, Protection, WASH, and cash programs.  SUDO is currently operating through 13 well-established field offices. 



 
 Duties and responsibilities:

Under the direct supervision of the Executive Director, the Program Development &   Reporting Specialist will undertake the following responsibilities:

 

  • Examine new funding opportunities and assess their alignment with the organizational priorities.
  • Lead the design and development of new program initiatives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners and donors. 
  • Prepare and write project proposals in coordination with program, finance, and operations teams.
  • Ensure proposed projects align with the organization?s vision, mission, and strategic priorities. 
  •  Ensure the programs are monitored and evaluated, and learnings are documented for success.
  • Ensure the projects? quantitative and qualitative data are collected and analyzed on time.  
  • Lead the development of program periodic reports for donors according to specified templates and requirements.
  • Develop internal reports for the SMT to track program progress and performance indicators, including Bi-annual and annual reports.
  • Ensure that reports meet quality, accuracy, and transparency standards.
  • Coordinate with field teams and donors to ensure smooth information flow.
  • Participate in technical meetings with donors.
  • Represent the organization in workshops or meetings related to program development. 

 
 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

  1. Master's degree in business administration, International Development, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 10 years? practical experience in program development/management with N/INGOs.
  3. Proven experience in proposal development (including logframe and budget) and report writing.
  4. Excellent writing and communication skills in both Arabic and English.
  5. Good command of computer applications (MS Office) and data collection tools.
  6. Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
  7. High ability to work independently and as part of a team.
