MSF-Swiss is seeking to employ 1 (one) qualified candidate in the Khartoum Project for the position of ICT (Information and communication technology) Supervisor. Interested applicants may find the detailed job description of this position below:



 
 Duties and responsibilities:

Main Purpose of the position:

Execute administrative, HR and legal related tasks to support the Project HR Manager following MSF standards and procedures, in order to ensure legal compliance and to realize the HR capacity required to achieve project objectives.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Under supervision of the Project FIN/HR Manager managing MSF staff and MoH staff files in order to ensure accuracy, compliance and on time payments.
  • Updating the HR database and personal files to facilitate HR processes management.
  • Updating Social security & Tax office files in order to meet legal requirements including specific amendments, when necessary, in order to ensure local labour and fiscal law compliance.
  • Preparing employment contracts in conformity with legal requirements including specific amendments, when necessary, in order to ensure local labour and fiscal law compliance.
  • Preparing monthly pay slips for all MoH incentive staff, editing and updating the necessary data, in order to ensure the punctuality and accuracy of staff payroll.
  • Following up of all expiring rental contract dates and inform the Administration Manager in order to leave enough time to arrange a renewal or look for an alternative.
  • Making all administrative information available to the staff (posting, meetings, etc.), supporting the Project FIN/HR Manager in translating documents into local language and assisting in meetings upon request.
  • Ensuring there is regular communication and follow-up with MoH administrative staff, in order to improve administrative procedures by being the primary point of contact
  • Co-managing domestic staff (cleaners, cook, cook aid) in the office and guesthouse together with the Project FIN/HR Manager to ensure cleanliness and hygiene as well as adequate comfort for all staff
  • Assisting the Project FIN/HR Manager during administrative procedures with state and federal authorities (e.g., recruitment and disciplinary processes, HAC, tax office, labour office, insurances, …)
  • Additional HR/Admin tasks delegated by the Project FIN/HR Manager

 
 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

Qualifications and requirements:

Education: University degree (min. 3 years) in administration, business, human resource management, economics, law or another relevant field

Experience: Essential previous working experience of at least two years in relevant jobs. Desirable experience in MSF or other (I)NGOs

Language: Written and spoken Arabic and English on a very high level

Knowledge: 

  • Essential computer literacy (word, excel, internet)
  • Familiarity with Sudanese public office processes (e.g., HAC procedures, labour law, taxation, social insurances, …)
  • Team-management skills (e.g., prioritisation, coaching, delegation, appraisal)
