Position Summary:

The primary responsibility of the Cleaner position is to maintain RI Office and Guest House in a clean and appropriate manner. Further, provides services to staff. Prepares meals, clean, and provides general household maintenance services in the RI office/guesthouse in Sennar, Sudan. 

Position Responsibilities and Duties

• On daily basis, ensure that RI office and guest house are cleaned to include sweeping, washing floor, dusting equipments, washing windows, ensuring that guesthouse overall presentable condition.
• As assigned by supervisor, perform other duties, which are consistent with the level in the office and guest house 
• Maintain a clean kitchen, including cleaning and washing all dishes after use. Ensure that there are always an adequate number of clean dishes for use throughout the course of the day.
• Ensure that there is an adequate stock of all basic household items, including toilet paper, soaps, napkins, plastic bags, cleaning materials, etc.
• Ensure that all beds have complete set of two clean sheets, pillow and pillow cases, and towels.
• Ensure that all bathrooms contain the appropriate toiletries on a daily basis. 
• Work with the SCO Officer to ensure that all necessary items are procured in a timely manner.
• Check that all waste is adequately disposed on a daily basis
• Ensure proper management of food and food items to avoid waste and expiry of items
• Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications

• Minimum Primary School Graduate – preferably high school graduate
• Able and willing to work in a multi-cultural environment;
• Previous professional experience with INGOs 
• Locally from Port Sudan Area/locality
