Background: Are you passionate about driving quality, accountability, and learning in humanitarian programs? Save the Children International in Sudan is seeking a dedicated MEAL Coordinator to lead and support our SHF 48-hour ERRM project. This is a vital role for an experienced and motivated professional who thrives in challenging environments and is committed to delivering impactful results.

Duties and responsibilities:
- Develop and roll out a context-specific MEAL strategy for the SHF 48-hour project across consortium partners.
- Provide technical guidance, capacity building, and supervision to MEAL teams and partner focal points.
- Lead on field management of surveys, assessments, baselines, PDMs, evaluations, and impact studies.
- Ensure consistent use of MEAL tools and systems across project locations.
- Conduct regular data quality assessments, field visits, and produce actionable monitoring reports.
- Strengthen accountability systems, ensuring community engagement and beneficiary feedback mechanisms.
- Promote child safeguarding principles throughout all MEAL activities.
- Lead performance management and capacity-building initiatives for MEAL officers and teams.
- Represent Save the Children at field-level meetings and donor visits.

Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:
Essential: - University degree in social science, economics, health, nutrition, or related fields.
- 3–5 years of MEAL experience in humanitarian programs.
- Strong English writing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience in insecure environments and participatory activities with communities, including children.
- Familiarity with international quality standards (SPHERE, CHS, Red Cross Code of Conduct).
- Commitment to Save the Children values and the Child Safeguarding Policy.
Desirable: - Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing work practices, and manage surge teams in emergencies.
