 Background:

The programme is searching for an enthusiastic intern with a "can-do" attitude to assist our organization in hosting events that enhance our programme’s visibility and the target group’s access to information through various formats (talks, panel discussions, contests, etc.).

The ideal candidate for this role should demonstrate immense energy, exceptional organizational abilities, superb interpersonal skills, multi-tasking skills, and excellent time management.



 
 Duties and responsibilities:

  • Brainstorming, and implementing event plans and concepts in close coordination with the communications and knowledge management team.
  • Supporting budgeting and invoicing.
  • Supporting liaising and negotiating with vendors, service providers, and/or partners in coordination with the admin team.
  • Handling logistics of events (venue, catering, etc.).
  • Updating line manager with the progress of planned activities.
  • Incorporating branding and communications guidelines in all events’ materials (digital or analogue) in close coordination with the communications officer.
  • Supporting the M&E processes in disseminating forms, feedback surveys, and other M&E-related documents.

 
 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

  • Degree in public relations, communications, hospitality, or another related field.
  • Communication and marketing skills.
  • Highly Organized.
  • Multi-tasker.
  • Good time management.
  • Proficiency in various event software.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
  • Proficient in Arabic and English
