Background: In the framework of the project “Increasing the Dignity and Protection of Refugees and Migrants in Eastern Sudan” whose overall objective is “women and girl survivors of trafficking and/or SGBV have increased dignity and improved psychosocial wellbeing and community members have increased awareness and knowledge of trafficking and/or SGBV issues for women and girls along the migratory route in Eastern Sudan”. The Community Mobiliser under the direct supervisor of the Project Coordinator and technical support of the Protection & MHPSS Senior Technical Officer will implement PSS activities of the SRCS-DRC project funded by PPL in Hamdayet entry point in Kassala state. All project activities are to be carried out through the established SRCS structures and will be based on the Fundamental principles, values and policies of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement |

Duties and responsibilities: · In close cooperation with Field Officers and Protection and MHPSS Senior Technical Officer, ensure effective implementation of the PS activities with refugees in the target entry points · Work closely with other organisations and other community based structures in Hamdayet · to identify issues (technical, managerial & financial) and needs to progress with the PS activities and guide them to find suitable solutions · Act as the link between the PS response and the affected population at community level. · Organise trainings and awareness programmes to the affected population in the assigned filed location in collaboration with local stakeholders (COR, UNHCR etc) · Coordinate and supervise volunteers in the target location including daily support, meetings and cooridination · Facilitate to organize workshops and trainings and play facilitation role in meetings and keep regular contact with refugees and host communities · Follow up strictly and ensure the successful implementation of activities according to the guidelines provided
