At WFP, we are looking for an experienced Finance Associate based in Khartoum, Sudan to be hired on a Fixed Term at GS 6 level .

WFP Sudan, one of the largest and complex operations for WFP globally, is currently rolling out its five-year Country Strategic Plan (2019-2023), which aims to provide emergency assistance through a hybrid approach (Cash, food and vouchers), along with life-changing types of programmes (Nutrition, Resilience and School Feeding). JOB PURPOSETo coordinate and provide finance and administration support services involving the recording and interpretation of financial information to ensure the efficient functioning of the support services and inform decision-making. STANDARD MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSEducation :
Completion of secondary school education. /A post-secondary school certificate f in the related functional area from a reputed university
Experience:
At least five (5) years of progressively responsible work experience in the relative area .
Language:
Fluency in English and Arabic. DESIRED EXPERIENCES FOR ENTRY INTO THE ROLEAt least five years of progressively responsible support experience including at least one year in the field of accounting, transport, insurance, statistics, operations or another related field.
