Background: Under supervision of the General Manger, the incumbent is to direct and control the financial planning, accounting practices, and investment portfolio of the company, and to ensure that business is meeting budget and cost standards. |

Duties and responsibilities: •Set finance and accounting strategies, policies and processes; identify risks and solutions; and perform tax planning and compliance.
•Establishes and executes programs for the provision of the capital required by the project, including negotiating the procurement of capital and maintaining the required financial arrangements.
•Coordinates the long-range plans of the company, assesses the financial requirements implicit in these plans and develops alternative ways in which financial requirements can be satisfied.
•Maintains relationships with financial institutions in conjunction with the Project Director.
•Administers banking arrangements and loan agreements, receives, has custody of and disburses the company's monies and securities.
•Maintains adequate sources for the company's current borrowings from commercial banks and other lending institutions. Invests the company's funds as appropriate
•Provide financial consultancy for external clients of company.
•Manage cash flow requirements and performances and monitor claims and variance request levels for all contracts.
•Develop and monitor budget, managing company resources efficiently.
•Put in place arrangements for effective management, maintaining employees and account records and reports.
•Review systems and processes regularly to ensure finance and accounting processes, and manage internal approvals are as required.
•Manage performance of team members, providing regular training, objectives, and learning opportunities. |

Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required: •University degree from credible institution in relevant field
•CPA or ACCA required
•10-15 years work experience
•Strong English language skills |
