Background:
The Senior IT Officer - works under the guidance and supervision of Operation Manager and he will be responsible for Providing assistance in the use of personal computer hardware, software, and
specialized Mainframe technology or operates a multi-platform computer environment or monitors the Production scheduling, execution, and successful completion of production jobs.

Duties and responsibilities:

Sets up and configures desktop computers, peripherals, MS Outlook and accounts assigning security level.

Supervise roving IT officer.
-
Troubleshoots, diagnoses problems, implements corrective action procedures within prescribed guidelines and/or escalates to other technical resources appropriate.

Provides basic troubleshooting, repair and maintenance for computer equipment (e.g.microcomputers, disk drives, VSAT and laser printers) and may assist with testing personal computers and peripherals on a network to diagnose, hardware versus software problems.

Provides daily support and, answering calls and e-mails regarding the computer network or communication systems.

Negotiating contracts with vendors, and developing contingency plans in case of network failure.

Training all staff in new and needed technology.

Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:
-
Certified BSc from the Ministry of Education and Higher Education In computer engineering, computer science, computer networking, any related field.

Professional training/Certificates such as ICDL, ITIL, MCSE, MCITP, CCNA CCNP and CCIE, is an advantage.
-
Four years’ experience in ICT field.

Ability to travel to deep field sites in short notice.

Team work player, self-motivation, Creativity, Organization and flexibility.

Experience with INGO is preferable.

Good English Communication is essential.

Salary and Benefits:-

International Medical Corps (IMC) offers a very competitive salary and benefit to its employees. The employee shall receive a monthly gross salary of USD 1,014.
-
Additionally IMC offers different package of allowances including 21 USD as medical allowance per month. IMC also pays one month basic salary as bonus once every year during Ramadan month {Eid Alfitr}.
