To increase guest satisfaction by providing efficient, prompt, trouble free and courteous service to guests in line with departmental and Barcelos guidelines
Duties and responsibilities:
Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
To ensure the prompt and efficient service of all beverages
Constantly offers professional, friendly and engaging service
Accurately records guest and/or servers orders
Serves guests order promptly and courteously
Ensures proper garnishing of drinks
Check for guest satisfaction to see if they would like anything else
Arrange bar furniture as and when required
Ensures that working area and station is stocked with “mis-en-place” and kept clean and tidy all the time
Maintains a thorough knowledge of bar menu
Should be aware of all the drinks content to be able to advise guests on selection and promote additional sales accordingly.
Promote additional sales by taking opportunities to up-sell in a professional manner
Confers with the Managers concerning set-ups
Mix drinks and control the beverage stock as per guidelines
Record & immediately report any spillages or wastages
