Basic Function:

·         Within the mission, vision and values of Medical City responsible for planning, design and implementation of new telecommunication Systems and for technical support including monitoring, analysis and troubleshooting of all existing communication Systems. Assigned to monitor the system and provide upgrades as necessary .Might is requested to perform an in-depth Configuration of the System.

1)    Participate in planning, monitoring and upgrading of the existing digital system such as telephone, paging, microwave, satellite, wireless radio and other systems as might be necessary or required.

2)    Responsible for Configuration and Programming of all the telecommunication systems.

3)    Perform telephone system and equipment maintenance.

4)    Prepare and execute required programming and maintenance for the telecommunication systems, telephone sets, paging terminals and voice circuits.

5)    Respond to emergency calls in the event of system failure to maintain and troubleshoots the communications equipment.

6)    Maintain and troubleshoot communications network outages.

7)    Establish, pull and terminate telephone cables, equipment & network .

8)    Perform operation and analysis for all systems.

9)    Responsible for downloading and updating the latest version of the system software.

10) Maintain proper technical records and check other technical records prepared by staff.

11) Apply and monitor the security of the communications System in the hospital and clinics.

12) Perform other Job related duties as assigned.

·         Diploma in Electronics Engineering Technician /Communications / Electronics or related or equivalent from an accredited institution.

·         Minimum of three (3) years experience in area of primary assignment

·         Shift work / Stand-by / Overtime

·         Fluent in English & Arabic.
