Background: CT-BO Transport Engineer For Telecommunication Company |

Duties and responsibilities: · Proactive maintenance · Have ability to troubleshoot L1 & L2 Alarms of IP RAN, IP BB, TXN MW and Trunk with preference on Ericsson and having Huawei experience is added advantage · Restore and recover the service based on SLA (Temporary and permanent solution) · Planning and implementation for disaster recovery plan · Escalating to CS and R&D and providing the required information · Second line support to field maintenance team · Output technical trouble shooting cases · Routine preventive maintenance and analysis on all network elements · CR implementation supervision · Release and data management (such as back up) · Transmission network related dimension and planning · Implementation for expansion, rehoming and integration · End to end optimization (planning and implementation) · Reporting: regarding KPI weekly and monthly. Make reports regarding to Fault Management and hand it on time. · Communication with customers · Providing training plan for FLM and FO · Restore and recover the service based on SLA (Temporary and permanent solution) · Implement disaster recovery plan

Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required: Qualification Required:
· Having Huawei high level training · Having Bachelors in Telecom/ Computer or Electrical Engineer · Experience in system upgrades, expansions& health checks of the network · Minimum 3 years experience in TX (Telecom or Service provider) in Huwei & Ericsson Transmission Equipment · Having complicated engineering project and Maintenance experience · Well versed with transmission network principle and types of equipment · Familiar with O&M and technical support work flow · English Mandatory & Arabic Preferred
Skills:
· Performance and Capacity monitoring · Communication with customers · Providing training plan for FLM and FO · Familiar with fault management · Performance & capacity monitoring · 100% proficient in English Speaking, Reading and Writing · Ability to work off hours depending on Network outages and customer requests · 24x7 availability to support after office hours, and be able to relocate within the country · Ability to travel without advance notice throughout the area of Managed Services · Ability to handle multiple tasks in pressurized condition.
