 Background:

Objective:

·         To formulate and direct the implementation of the Plant strategy that enables the company to meet its business objectives. 

 



 
 Duties and responsibilities:

§  Develop an efficient strategy to ensure that the plant meets production goals and standards at minimal manufacturing costs.

§  Develop short and long term business plan and budget, in a bid to increase the efficiency and profitability of the plant.

§  Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets.

§  Plan, organize, direct and run the operational system of the plant with optimum day-to-day activities.

§  Allocate resources effectively, increase production, and maintain current quality standards with a trigger of corrective actions.

§  Ensure that the product being manufactured meets the company’s standards, policies and practices,.

§  Work directly with department heads to coordinate purchasing and financial aspects.

§  Share a trusting relationship with workgroup and recruit, manage and develop plant staff.

§  Address employees’ issues or grievances and administer collective bargaining agreements.

§  Responsible for upholding a safe work environment.

§  Conduct weekly/monthly and upon request reports.

§  Perform Ad-hoc duties assigned by management.

 


 
 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

Minimum Requirements:

Education:

·         Bachelor Degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering Business ( MBA  is a plus)Or extensive relevant experience.

Experience:

·         Proven Managerial experience, as a Plant manager or capable of taking next step in career.

·         Professional English and Arabic knowledge, in both writing and speaking

·         Strong skills in computer applications especially MS Excel, Word, Power Point.

 

·         Analysis Software.

 

    Skills:

  • Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic Influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise.
  • Knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory processes.
  • Ability to create accountability and to lead by example.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Strong planning ability and organizational skills.

·         Experience in team management.
