Supply Chain & Logistics Officer For largest companies in the foodstuff packaging and import sector in Sudan

• Follow up and administer on all shipments (food, material and spare parts) status and arrival in country related information...
• Monitor all shipments in country logistical costs (Handling, Transportation & Storing)...
• Handling all operation related with shipments (import, custom clearance, re-export)..
• Monitor and check entire all clearance required documents are completed and within the required achievement standards on a daily basis.
• Closely monitor and follow up of clearance orders and lead time combined with daily analysis reports.
• Check the amount of customs assessments & confirm to for finance department to affect the payment.
• Manage and monitor communications with supplier in term of negotiating on the prices and supplier performance regarding meeting company’s quality and delivery requirements..
• Evaluate vendors ability through site visits, material costs forecasts or standard cost lists.
• Implement new or improve supply chain processes.
• Supervise coach supply chain staff and monitor their performance.
• Develop processes and procedures to foster continuous improvement and accountability between departments and with external suppliers
• Manages daily activities of project support teams to ensure that customer expectations and internal requirements are met. Collaborates with teammates and interfacing departments
• Manage and direct supply chain personnel in the procurement and customs clearance to ensure on-time delivery of the products.

Education:

·         Bachelor degree in business administration or related discipline, preferably higher studies in same field.

Experience:

·         4 years + in similar logistics or supply chain job preferable in fast moving consumer goods.

Skills & Knowledge:

·         Decision Making.

·         Excellent Communication Skills.

·         Managing Work (includes Time Management) .

·         Microsoft Office, ERP.

·         Negotiation Skills.

·         Strong follow-up skills.

·         Technical/Professional Knowledge.
