Maintain product and inventory cost system, analyses and report manufacturing cost, Support development of annual budget and periodic forecast and Assist operations personnel in better understanding product costs.

Supervision of Subordinates:

Organize and supervise the activities and work of subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area of the finance section activity is carried out in an efficient manner which is consistent with operating procedures and policy

Budgets and Plans:

Contribute to the preparation of the G&A, MS &D and MOH section budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues and areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified

Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures:

Recommend improvements to policy and direct the implementation of instructions covering all areas of manufacturing, direct materials purchases and stocks movement , FG movements, and exp. control activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service

Day- to-day operations:

Supervise the day-to-day operations of oil movement and process, chemicals and packing materials purchases and FG movement to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes and procedures.

Costing Activities :

§  Analyse manufacturing cost including cost of goods sold, manufacturing variances and inventory adjustments by using the Oracle and monthly stocktaking to save guard of the company current assets and usage control.

§  Project the impact of changes to product cost resulting from possible changes in manufacturing process, scale and capacities by assessing the current situation vs. the other opportunities to achieve maximum benefits to the shareholders.

§  Support development of site annual expense budget by issuing a monthly report along with the monthly meeting with the Supply Chain Director in order to highlight the key issue and corrective actions.

§  Review overhead allocation and revise standard costs as appropriate by evaluating the current month actual results to minimize variances

§  Support other accounting activities as needed

§  Ensure general ledger accurately reflects value of inventory on hand by using the Oracle and monthly stocktaking to safeguard of company resources

§  Assist Manufacturing and material departments in understanding product costs and potential cost reduction opportunities by reviewing the actual results with the various dept. heads in order to achieve the down top budget control    

§  Assist the Supply Chain Director for the manufacturing annual budget preparation by using the systems and providing the historical data with recommending outlook for the coming period.

Inventory Management:

§  Monitor and control day to day inventories movement and stocks level to ensure healthy stocks of inventories ready to cover production needs without having burden on cash flow from overstocking and  accuracy and compliance with business needs,  policies and procedures

 Standards & Regulations :

Ensure that all activities are monitored and regulatory compliance audits and inspections are conducted for an effective implementation of regulatory standards

Projects :

Supervise the implementation of projects to ensure that the project cycle is completed, meeting agreed project parameters (cost budget, timelines, scope and quality), standards and objectives

Continuous Improvement:

Stimulate subordinates and contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of section systems, processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement

Reporting:

Supervise the preparation of timely and accurate reports of Financial planning to meet the company and department requirements, policies and standards
