 Background:

To ensure efficient and effective RTM strategies and action plans are in place, explore market for new sales and distribution opportunities, and identify / develop opportunities and demand as initiated by marketing activities across different sales channels

 

Collection and reporting of intelligence information and data to support strategic decision making and formulation of effective branding and marketing communication and other value enhancing initiatives to deliver best in class customer service and satisfaction.

 

The position within the commercial department will collectively focus on effective marketing and promotional campaigns, and most importantly CRM and Call Centre systems, in coordination with other functions within the department. 



 
 Duties and responsibilities:

•       To ensure efficient and effective RTM strategies and action plans are in place for different sales operations / channels as required.

•       Audit current distribution network and explore market for new sales and distribution opportunities in greater Khartoum and up countries

•       Implement Market Research to collect accurate data indicative of existing operational performance, competitors performance, new market trends, and new market opportunities

•       Implement brand audit as designed in coordination with marketing manager and align together analysis and interpretation of the findings. 

•       To analyze  market research and dealer / customer surveys to identify weaknesses in the respective channels and adjust route to market strategies to improve customer / dealer satisfaction

•       Monitor group and subsidiaries sales strategy and sales budget performance as well as sales reporting functions with data as required via both periodical and requested surveys, audits, and reports.

•       Identify and develop the demand and opportunities as initiated by marketing activities in the best effective way across different channels ( G. Khartoum, Up Country, Special markets, B2B, projects … etc. )

·         To design and follow up implementation of promotional activities, in coordination with marketing manager, to serve sales & marketing strategy in light of market dynamics and recent market research outcomes.

  • Identify and develop opportunities to cross sell across the Groups products and services , particularly in B2B, On Premise and Class A outlets

·         To establish and maintain adequate relations with dealers / traders / agents & distributors to support the business interests.

·         To make sure that all sales staff across the group is occupied in giving courteous service to customers, while maintaining loyalty to The Company and its principles and policies.

·         To manage and lead department staff in a manner that would benefit The Company.

·         To manage effectively all assets belonging to his/her department.

·         To perform any other duties required by the business.

 


 
 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

•       Marketing / Business Management Graduate from a reputed University.

•       Having worked as a Sales Manager for at least 5 years.

•       Good experience in the areas of Sales Management / Sales Strategies / budgets / costing.

•       Must have great creative energy and ability to generate new productive ideas, and will to travel across different locations within the country and abroad. . 

•       Ability to  respond  to  common  inquiries or  complaints  from  all customer  types 

•       Excellent attention to detail, superior communication, writing, presentation, and follow-­up skills.  

•       Should have good knowledge of word processing software; spreadsheet software; presentation software; internet software, email systems, etc.    

•       Familiarity and experience with survey and research tools, analytical, and Interpretative Skills.

•       Ability to effectively work under tight deadlines and manage projects and multi tasks independently and effectively.

•       Superior professionalism and judgment

•       Demonstrated problem resolution skills/experience

•       Demonstrated knowledge of sales, and customer service skills

•       Strong work ethics

•       Good Oral and Written Communication, both Arabic & English language.
