 Background:

Heavy machinery sales managers are responsible for organizing a team of sales people and devising strategies for the team to use to maximize sales and customer loyalty.



 
 Duties and responsibilities:

·         Determining annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies; analyzing trends and results

·         Establishing sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products

·         Maintaining and increasing sales of your company's products

·         Reaching the targets and goals set for your area

·         Establishing, maintaining and expanding your customer base

·         Servicing the needs of your existing customers

·         Increasing business opportunities through various routes to market

·         Setting sales targets for individual reps and your team as a whole

·         Recruiting and training sales staff

·         Allocating areas to sales representatives

·         Developing sales strategies and setting targets

·         Monitoring your team's performance and motivating them to reach targets

·         Compiling and analyzing sales figures

·         Possibly dealing with some major customer accounts yourself

·         Collecting customer feedback and market research

·         Review monthly the best monitoring sales report with management to determine if goals and objectives are being met.

·         Reporting to senior managers

·         Keeping up to date with products and competitors

o   Minimum 10 years’ experience in Heavy Equipment’s Sales.

o   English language proficiency
