As we strive to continue offering our customers the quality service that they deserve and part of our rapid expansion of activities in the Horn of Africa, we are seeking to recruit  Sales Manager who is self-motivated with a go-getter attitude of excellence who aspire to develop his/her career with the one the world’s largest liner shipping companies.



 
 Duties and responsibilities:

Job Overview:

•          To deliver and optimize Yield and Volume for the cluster

•          To deliver on Customer Satisfaction survey targets for the cluster to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty

•          To deliver on Productivity targets for the cluster

•          Deploy clear Objectives throughout the sales organization linked to the cluster scorecard and Maersk Line and Sales strategy

•          Drive Performance Culture Develop Sales Pipeline mindset supported by effective coaching and competency development

•          To recruit and develop sales people and build talented organization

•          To ensure overall coordination between channels, functions, countries and region

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

•          Coaching and Development

•          Sales Team Performance

•          Develop and maintain sales strategy

•          Sales Leadership

•          Interact extensively with Customer Service team to ensure feedback from customers and knowledge of the market place is gathered, analyzed, discussed and auctioned on.

•          Develop and target business opportunities based on analysis coming from Sales team short, medium and long term


 
 Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

  • Master degree in Marketing/sales or related fields with over 5 years of experience
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
  • A positive can do-will do attitude
  • Fluent is spoken & written English
  • Supervisory and leadership skills
  • Coaching Skills
  • Proactive, self-starter who can work alone & within a close knit team
  • Passionate with drive to continuously develop
  • Drive for Results - Willing to work towards achieving goals & KPIs of self & entire team
  • Analytical skills
  • Skills on Microsoft office programs (including Power point, Excel, Word etc)
