Under close supervision, performs a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled tasks in the installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of irrigation equipment, irrigation systems and small pumps; and performs related duties as assigned.

• Knowledge of the proper care and maintenance of tools of the trade.
• Knowledge of irrigation system installation, repair and maintenance.
• Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
• Knowledge of use of common hand and power tools.
• Knowledge of basic preventive maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Skill in installing, maintaining and repairing irrigation systems.
• Skill in reading engineering drawings or blueprints.

• Skill in communicating effectively, orally and in writing.
• Ability to establish cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.

• B.Sc. In Agriculture from a notable university
• 4 years experience in modern irrigation systems
• English language proficiency
• Computer skills
