Background: Under the guidance and supervision of the Local Security Associate and the overall guidance of the Field Security Supervisor, the Security Clerk provides assistance in administrative security tasks, acts as translator during investigations as required and provides reliable support to the Security Team, ensuring the highest standards of discretion and integrity, sense of responsibility, excellent knowledge of protocol and security issues. The Security Clerk will demonstrate a client-oriented approach, courtesy, tact and the ability to work with people of different cultural backgrounds. |

Duties and responsibilities: 1. Provides assistance in the following administrative security tasks where required:
Updates Staff Lists weekly
Assists with procurement of security related materials
Assists in the preparation of the daily radio checklist
Collates and manages Mission Clearance Requests and monitors the progress of those clearances
Assists in initial MOSS compliance inspections
Acts as a compound warden for fire, evacuation or other emergency
Assists with implementation of contingency plans, such as mass casualty response, when needed
Maintains the National Warden System (Juba)
Coordinates travel processes for the Security Team
Other administrative tasks as required

3. Ensures provision of reliable and safe driving services:
Meets security personnel and visitors at the airport when required.
Ensures daily vehicle logs are maintained, provision of inputs to preparation of the vehicle maintenance plans and reports.
Ensures timely maintenance of security vehicles
Ensure vehicles are properly equipped with documents/supplies, insurance, logs, maps, first aid kit, and spare parts.
Ensure vehicle is field MOSS compliant at all times. |

Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required: Secondary Education. Valid driving license.
2-3 years’ work experience in a combination of administrative and/or security-related functions, with a minimum of three years safe driving record. Experience in preparation and conduct of training advantageous. Experience of ATLAS essential
Fluency in the language of the duty station – English and Juba Arabic. Ability in local tribal languages advantageous. |
