Suitable:
Those identified to be First Aid personnel in their organisations and/or aimed relief workers who spend a lot of their time in the field. It is also a very useful course for support personnel such as guards, drivers, and cleaners.

Covers:
This 3-day course provides an opportunity for individual aid workers, and consequently their agencies, to better understand the health-related and workplace safety risks inherent to their work and how to deal with them. This involves identifying the risks unique to their context and looking at preventative measures. There is also training in basic life saving and First Aid procedures in order to enable participants to respond to incidents that do occur. The facilitation is shared between RedR and the Sudanese Red Crescent. Translated materials will be used in the training and where possible. |
